NEW MEP

Wasting no time, we're going to be starting a new mep shortly. Now, I need you guys to post song suggestions. The theme will be a crossover pairing, involving a twisted relationship. [slash or straight]

Doesn't really matter Fuma xD Anything that would flow with the theme, however.

This is the best idea ever!

Charlène already had some really awesome suggestions for the song, but I thought I'd add a few fun ones.

All the songs above are quite good and we still haven heard the suggestions of the others...(it will be a tough choice)
Tarja has a great voice but I personally prefer "Poison" in its original

I not quite sure how many of my suggestions go with the theme but here goes =)
I was going to start with Apocalyptica - S.O.S. (Anything But Love), but I see that Brittiny already posted it
For some reasons most of the songs I though of were gothic or gothic covers...
To/Die/For - "In The Heat Of The Night"
To/Die/For - "Hollow Heart"
To/Die/For - "Immortal Love"
Poisonblack - "Illusion-Delusion"
and some old school Alice Cooper - "Bed of Nails" or Children Of Bodom's Cover (Warning: they not for everyone's taste)
and Sisters of Mercy - "Temple of Love" ^^' or the Crematory's Cover (Warning: they not for everyone's taste)
Oh and maybe "Tainted Love" by Marilyn Manson or this...some sort of remix

I am all for using Tainted Love. I love that song and it has a really dark feel to it. It's a little overused but I think it will do nicely for a crossover.

I am torn between "S.O.S- Anything But Love" and "Tainted Love"

So now, I'd like you guys to list some reasons why you prefer the song that you do. We need to make a decision together, so start posting!


I personally am leaning towards "Tainted Love." Though overused at times, it would provide the basis for a fast paced and deliciously twisted MEP. I see a lot of potential as to the possible storylines for each of our parts.

Omgawd Two awesome songs, both I've vidded before: failed with SOS though haha ! I do agree though I think Tainted Love would make an excellent choice for a crossover, but then again S.O.S is such an awesome song!! =3
Hmm I don't know. I mean in song wise I prefer S.O.S, but in matching terms I think Tainted Love would work better!

Tained Love is great because although it is overused, its much easier to vid a crossover to. The beat isn't rediculous, and the lyrics are perfect for darker pairings.

I love the Tainted Love idea. It's dark and twisted and the beat is amazingly fun to play with. S.O.S. is more hauntingly evocative, but Tainted Love has that harsher element that lends itself to violence.

Beautiful replies, you guys! Tainted Love it is, I'll be dividng the song parts within the next few days.

In the meantime, please start to think of some vampirey crossover pairings.
Also, TRUE BLOOD is allowed as one of our fandoms. In fact, I'd go as far as to suggest the show to any of you blood dumplings who haven't seen it!

aw well I though I replied, I guess I didn't. Can I use Ginger from Ginger Snaps (she's a werewolf, not a vampire...but I'll make sure it's dark) and Dorian Grey? Dark pairing from dark movies, if I can't use those two I'll use something like Louis and Dorian.

Despite the fact that we're a studio focused MAINLY on vampires, if you feel inspired by the couple, then absolutely run with it! We'll try to use other dark moves (not necessarily vampiric)

thanks, like I said, I try to stick with vampires, but I really have wanted to use that couple, or at least one of the two because they've both been really inspiring me ^ ^
